The opening is finished to size at manufacture, so the panel drops straight into the bumper recess and trims the hole behind it without any cutting. Bracketry and wiring in that pocket stay protected from spray. Cracks radiating out from the aperture lip, and tabs snapped during a bumper strip-down, are what put one on the shopping list.

Features

Aperture moulded to size, no cutting or filing needed

Copied from the original part so it sits square first time

Moulded tabs and clips replace the ones most commonly broken

Grain and sheen match the surrounding bumper

Specification

Material: impact-grade ABS

Fitment side: front left

Aperture: open, original dimensions

Supplied as: single cover, one piece

Fitting

With the bumper still on the car, a plastic trim tool at the panel edge is enough to release the old cover.
